Inspired by the greatest of gastro pubs & bars, The Ram offers high quality food, great wine & beer, cocktails & good times. Our ethos is simple - quality, approachable, fun food that has people coming back time after time. The venue is predominantly an evening venue, is open for lunch three days a week and has a strong focus on being a welcoming and positive space!
We are looking for someone to head the kitchen team, grow the business along side us & become a valued member of our hospo family. We pride ourselves on the quality, consistency and creativity of the food we offer and are looking for someone who shares that vision.
The Role:- Full time, guaranteed 38 hours per week.
- Maximum of 40 hours per week
- Menu development & creative freedom
- Working as part of a fun and focused team
- Helping guide passionate young chefs to success
- Training of all kitchen staff
- Ordering, costing menus, managing wastage
- Ensuring all health & safety standards are met
- Managing the food control plan & health inspections
- Working along side the owners in a supportive environment

- Ability to create delicious, seasonal dishes
- Experience managing and training staff
- Ability to work well & lead a team under pressure
- Experience in implementing systems to enhance kitchen performance
