Head Chef
From our waterfront café and summer bar to our premium event catering venues, through to catering and deliveries to offsite venues, we continue to deliver exceptional service and food in all areas of our business.
The Role:As Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of kitchen operations across our café and functions, from daily food prep to conference menu design. You’ll guide and support a committed kitchen team, ensuring quality, consistency and creativity on every plate.
Key Responsibilities:- Hands-on leadership of day-to-day kitchen operations
- Innovative menu development
- Roster planning and wage cost control
- Ordering, stock management, and food costing
- Ensuring all food leaves the kitchen on time and to high standards
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety practices
- Fostering a collaborative and growth-focused team culture
- Proven experience in a similar Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership role
- Strong organisational, communication and team leadership skills
- Confidence with both café and large-scale event catering environments
- Creativity in the kitchen and a passion for delivering beautiful, flavour-driven kai
