Sous Chef

We are seeking interest for experienced Sous Chef.

You will be responsible for day to day running of all aspect of cooking in the kitchen.

The ideal candidate shall be someone who is able to take ownership of the following tasks, - planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
  • monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
  • demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
  • preparing and cooking food
  • explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
  • training of junior staff
Someone who has excellent work ethics and,
  • able to use their own initiative, be proactive and hardworking,
  • friendly and a great team player,
  • also experienced in cabinet food preparation
  • able to collaborate with others to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • At least 2 year of previous relevant experience.

The successful applicant is able stay calm, and focused under pressure and high work volume.
