Are you an experienced cook or chef who thrives in a fast-paced production environment?
We are a busy, high-volume bakery producing large quantities of premium sweet and savoury products daily. We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Cook/Chef to join our production team, specialising in preparing and cooking bakery fillings.
What You’ll Be Doing: Preparing and batch-cooking savoury fillings
Following standardised recipes to meet daily production targetsMonitoring cooking temperatures and maintaining strict quality control
Scaling recipes accurately for large-volume output
Working closely with the bakery assembly team
Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
Operating commercial production equipment (tilting kettles, mixers, steamers, blast chillers)
What We’re Looking For: Experience in a commercial kitchen or food production environment
Confidence with high-volume batch cookingStrong understanding of food safety practices
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
