Are you a passionate chef ready to join the kitchen at one of New Zealand’s most iconic locations? Tui HQ in Mangatainoka is looking for a creative, hands-on Lead Chef. • Lead and inspire the kitchen team with passion and creativity.
• Design and deliver menus that celebrate local ingredients and match our legendary brews.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships via LOADED REPORTS.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to create a seamless experience for guests.
• Play a key role in major events and brewery experiences at Tui HQ.
• Be keen to join a family run, locally owned and operated business

• Proven experience as a Lead Chef (3 years + essential)
• Passion for seasonal, local, and innovative cuisine.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, stock management and food safety.
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment.
• New Zealand Certificate in Cookery – Level 3 and above (preferable)
• Food Safety and Hygiene Training
• Fluent English (essential)

• Fulltime role - minimum of 30h per week.
