**The Role |?Mo tenei turanga mahi**
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Chef to join our team in Feilding.
This is a sole-charge kitchen role where you'll be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals, you will be preparing dinner for around 40 people along with lunch for 23 people. You'll lead the day-to-day kitchen service, manage menu planning and food purchasing, and ensure all meals are delivered with care and consistency to meet the dietary needs of our guests.
*This is a fixed-term role through to the end of February 2026, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.*
**You |?Mou**
We are looking for someone who:
- Has NZQA Food Safety certificate or willing to work towards one
- Holds a New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a recognised equivalent or be willing to commence study towards this within six months of starting employment with Pathways and completed within two years of commencement.
- A flair for creativeness and innovation
- Tertiary qualification in hospitality, professional cookery, or equivalent
- Experience in managing to a budget
- Experience as a head chef, or in sole charge kitchen
