Assistant Retail Supervisor

- Days & hours of work: Tuesday to Saturday 6:30 – 3:00pm
- Paid birthday leave and Health insurance.
We have an exciting opportunity in our Wellington Retail Store for an Assistant Retail Supervisor. This is a great role, for a highly motivated and experienced retail assistant keen to advance their career at Moana NZ.
Based in our Moore Wilson Retail Store in Wellington, this is an ideal opportunity to work alongside the Retail Manager & Supervisor and gain supervisory experience, to further develop your retail knowledge and contribute to planning and people initiatives that optimises team and store performance.
Key responsibilities:- Lead by example and deliver a premium first-class level of service to customers.
- Provide premier frontline customer sales service , whilst ensuring merchandising, & in-store presentation is of a high standard at all times.
- Assist store management to achieve cost efficiencies, continuous improvement and profitability from retail activities.
- Help train and on-board new and existing Retail Assistants to understand and carry out all tasks and responsibilities, aligned to SOPS, code of conduct and Moana retail standards.
- Support and encourage a positive team culture.
- Clear, honest and proactive communication with managers, supervisors and colleagues
