We're now on the lookout for an experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team and help take our Paint & Homewares departments to the next level.
A bit about the role…This is a varied, people-focused leadership role where you'll lead a small team across our busy Paint & Homewares department, helping customers bring their projects and homes to life.
You'll be someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, leading by example, and motivating others in a fast-paced but fun retail environment. Product knowledge in paint or homewares is a bonus, but not essential — we'll provide full training and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:- Supporting the day-to-day management of the Paint & Homewares department
- Leading, coaching and motivating your team to deliver outstanding service
- Working closely with the Retail Manager to improve stock availability, merchandising and inventory control
- Ensuring customers receive expert advice and a great in-store experience every time
- Driving sales performance and promoting a positive, engaged team culture
This is a full-time role, Sunday to Thursday, offering a great work-life balance.
A bit about you…You'll bring:
- Previous retail leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle a busy workload
- A friendly, confident and approachable communication style
- A proven sales mindset with a focus on understanding customer needs
- High energy, self-motivation and a strong work ethic
Experience or knowledge in paint, decorating, or homewares is an advantage, but not essential — we're happy to teach the right person.
