Finance Manager

• Proven experience in leading Audits, NZ Tax and financial accounting teams.

Our industry leading client is looking for a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in driving their finance team forward. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of critical financial information and reports.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the finance team to ensure accurate and reliable financial information and reports.
• Oversee and lead external audits and financial reporting.
• Ensure that all month-end tasks, including journals and accruals, inventory, projects, and fixed assets are completed accurately and on time.
• Tax returns (GST/FBT/Income Tax) are completed and filed on time.
• Liaison with external tax consultants when required.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis to support business decision-making.
• Ensuring the daily, weekly and monthly cash flow reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Key finance support for the implementation of a new ERP finance system.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proven experience in senior financial accounting and managing audits.
• Knowledge of NZ tax requirements.
• Experience in driving a finance team to deliver high-quality work with a focus on accuracy and reliability.
• CA qualified or equivalent qualification.
