Aldo’s Restaurant is a business that has been operating successfully. We are based in Warkworth and are currently looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our team. The position is full time (usually 40 hours per week with a guarantee of 30 hours per week) and permanent.Hours of work 11am – 9pm Monday to Saturday including Public Holidays. Hourly wage $28-30/hour.
We are a busy establishment with an interesting food and drinks menu therefore experience is essential.
Your duties will include:- Lead by example and motivate the team to maintain a consistent high performing work culture.
- Network to achieve industry recognition for the establishment.
- Working with the owner to take on his knowledge and feedback.
- Creating and executing training and development plans for staff – keeping them inspired and motivated to gain knowledge and learn.
- Organise and coordinate operations.
- Recruit staff.
- Maintain high levels of customer service.
- Develop and direct staff
- Menu development in consultation with the owner.
- Manage everyday operations.
- Schedule rostering needs of the business.
- Schedule purchasing and inventory control.
- Supervise staff.
- Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards.
- Review and prepare reports for the director.
- Participate in events to push our purpose further with our reputable, strong and creative ideas and talent within the organisation.
- Continuously updating processes and procedures.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Familiarity and/or experience with Italian and other cuisines, wines and drinks
- Duty Manager’s License and/or LCQ or ability to obtain one
- Run the day-to-day operations of the establishment, including overseeing personnel
- Ensure that the facilities are properly maintained
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Oversee the upkeep of administrative and financial records
- Be able to follow and implement health and safety measures in establishment
- Be physically fit
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Reliable and keen to turn up for work
