Restaurant Manager
Auckland
We are urgently looking for a Restaurant Manager to manage the full operations of the restaurant. As the sole manager you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with food safety and licensing regulations, and driving high standards of service.
Manage, train, and roster staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage cost control.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and liquor licensing regulations.
Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and business performance.
Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints effectively.
Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and achieving business targets.
Planning profitable menus for restaurant and functions in coordination with the kitchen team
Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
This is a hands-on role where leadership, problem-solving, and excellent organisational skills are essential.
It is a full-time role with minimum 30 hours per week- Key Responsibilities

- Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 2 years relevant experience within the hospitality industry OR a relevant hospitality qualification at Diploma level 5
Strong knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and liquor licensing laws in New Zealand.Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Other Qualifications
LCQ (Liquor Controller Qualification) or willingness to obtain one within 3 months
