Fencer and General Farm Maintenance - Rangiora

We're looking for a practical hardworking person to join our dairy farm team in Waikuku. This role is ideal for someone experienced in fencing and general farm maintenance, who's confident working independenlty and as part of a team and can get stuck into a variety of farm jobs,

• Fencing repairs, new fence builds and general farm maintenance
• 4 to 5 morning milkings per 8 days on and occasional afternoon milking's when needed.
• General Farm maintenance incl water systems, yards, sheds, gates etc
• Welding skills would be a big advantage
• Experience in permanent fencing is a big plus
• Machinery Operation and other practical tasks as needed.
• Helping our across the farm as required
• You will be on an 8 and 2 roster

• Has fencing experience
• Can weld
• Is physically fit and motivated
• Great practical skills and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full drivers License class 1 required, class 2 preferred

We can offer ongoing work on a well established family owned dairy farm which has been in the family for 119 years. There is a house with 3 to 4 bedrooms with log burner and heat pump. We are on the local primary and high school bus run.
