Your attention to detail and understanding of financial workflows will be key to supporting informed decision-making.
Consular Support You'll play a role in supporting individuals who need assistance, including vulnerable members of our community.
Whether it's helping someone navigate a complex situation or expanding our support network, your empathy and professionalism will shine.
Event Management From high-level meetings to regional events, you'll take the lead on planning, logistics, and execution.
You'll ensure every detail is covered, creating experiences that reflect Ministry values and our mission at Post.
The Consulate recognises the deep cultural and ancestral ties between Aotearoa and Hawai‘i.
Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate experience with te ao Māori (Māori worldview) or ka wā kahiko (traditional Hawaiian perspectives), or a desire to learn in this space.

The appointment range for this position is within Band 13, with the midpoint of the Band being USD $58,240 per annum.
You must have the lawful right to work in the United States.
The Consulate may support A2 visa applications for eligible candidates; however, these visas are subject to a maximum duration of five years and are not guaranteed.
Candidates are responsible for managing their own tax obligations in both New Zealand and the United States, as applicable.
This includes understanding any responsibilities under the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department's ‘Government Service Rule', as well as complying with relevant U.S.
federal and state tax laws.

Executive Support ExperienceProven ability to provide high-level administrative support to senior executives.
This experience can include calendar management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and confidential correspondence.
Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Finance Experience with Contemporary SystemsExperience working with contemporary financial software platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday.
Capable of processing financial transactions, generating reports, and supporting budget tracking and reconciliation with a strong understanding of digital finance workflows.
Event ManagementBackground in planning and executing events ranging from small meetings to large-scale functions.
