Restaurant Manager, Lone Star Papanui (20 hours to start)
We’re on the hunt for a proper Restaurant Manager. Someone who can run a tight ship, build a strong team, and make every shift feel smooth, even when it’s pumping.
This role starts at around 20 hours a week, with a clear pathway to full time for the right person as you settle in and we see the fit.
What you’ll bring
LCQ and current Manager’s Certificate ideal, but if you’re the right fit we can work with you on getting these sorted.
3 to 5+ years’ experience running busy services and leading a team
Strong training and coaching skills, you lift people up and back your crew
Solid rostering and admin skills, you can plan ahead and stay organised
High standards around presentation, food safety, and compliance
A calm head under pressure and the ability to lead from the floor
The role
You’ll be responsible for the day to day running of the restaurant, including:
Delivering fast, friendly, memorable service every service
Leading pre shifts, setting standards, and keeping the team sharp
Hiring, training, and developing staff
Rosters, wage control, and keeping things running efficiently
Following our systems and processes, our Operations Manual matters here
Jumping in where needed, because that’s what good leaders do
