Production Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage daily production operations. This role is responsible for coordinating production activities, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and meeting production targets efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and manage daily production operations
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand
- Supervise, train, and manage production staff and supervisors
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Monitor production output, efficiency, quality, and wastage
- Manage raw materials, stock levels, and production resources
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Prepare production reports and liaise with senior management
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience or/and minimum of a Level 4 qualification in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing production workflows
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, quality control, and workplace health & safety
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Hours: 30–45 hours per week
- Location: Auckland
- Salary: Market rate, based on skills and experience
