Factory Processor
Position purpose To help produce product from raw materials under the guidance of the Production Manager. Lifting of items 10-25 kg is part of this role. You must be physically fit with no pre existing injury issues that could affect your performance.
Main tasks Core objectives include:
- Production of recipes:
o Flaking
o Mincing
o Blending- Handling of raw meat by retrieving and replacing product into the freezer
- Operation of bandsaw
- Packing of product
- Labelling of product
- Interaction with customers
The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.
Career progression to 21C (supervisory
responsibilities/shift manager) is the next step.
