Office Administrator / Accounts Coordinator

Are you an experienced, organised, and proactive administrator looking for a role where you can truly make an impact? Waikato Frame and Truss Ltd is seeking a capable and motivated Office Administrator / Accounts Coordinator to take ownership of our administrative, accounting, payroll, and HR functions — and help lead us into our next phase of digital transformation.
This is a part-time position with 25–35 hours per week, depending on workload and the successful applicant’s capability.
About the Role
This is a key position in our business, responsible for ensuring our office runs smoothly while supporting our team, customers, and suppliers. You’ll be the first point of contact for administrative needs and will take charge of several core business functions.- Accounts & Financial Administration (Top Priority)
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoicing and credit control
- Month-end support and reporting
- Payroll & HR Administration (Top Priority)
- Processing weekly wages
- Maintaining employee records
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and staff documentation
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Inventory & Order Administration
- Managing supplier orders and delivery documentation
- Assisting with stock control and materials coordination
- Supporting production scheduling where needed
- General Office Management
- Managing the front office and assisting staff as required
- Maintaining filing systems and company records
- Overseeing day-to-day office operations
We are looking for someone confident with business systems and keen to support our upcoming software improvements.
Essential experience:- Xero
- MYOB or similar payroll system
- Cin7 or Unleashed inventory systems
- Timecloud or similar time and attendance platforms
