Administration Assistant - Greymouth
We have a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join the team at our Kokiri processing site, based 20kms from Greymouth.
The purpose of this role is to provide an elevated level of administration support to the Management Team and provide an efficient, friendly and co-operative front desk response to telephone calls and visitors to the Kokiri office, thus assisting the company's positive image.
The successful Candidate will have a proactive and focused approach and an ability to prioritise work, manage time effectively and meet deadlines and have intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Greet visitors and answer phone calls in a friendly, courteous manner
- Provide diligent, efficient, and effective word processing services to management as required to the management team
- Note taking and then electronic copies sent to appropriate recipient
- Ensure that the reception area, meeting room and kitchen are maintained in a clean and tidy order
- Carry out photocopying, laminating, filing, binding, and scanning and other general administration duties as required
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and courier items and ordering of courier tickets
- Administer and distribute general email enquiries and invoices
- Assist onsite buyers with end to end purchase order management
- Ordering and maintaining stock of stationary/toner for site
- Provide detailed KPI's as required
- Provide general support to the management team as required.
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Proven time management, organisational and prioritising skills
- A proactive and focused approach to the tasks and responsibilities associated with the role
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A professional and friendly manner and presentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive material with discretion.
