As a Chef, you will be required to cook Indian dishes with taste and quality produce.

Location: Christchurch

Some of the duties include but are not limited to as follows:

• Plan and organise food preparation and cooking activities.
• Design menus, manage kitchen budget, including food cost, labor cost, and equipment maintenance.
• Ordering stock and checking goods on arrival.
• Train and guide kitchen staff.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through food quality and presentation.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards meet or exceed local health regulations.
• Implement proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct regular training and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 3 yrs of commercial kitchen experience or NZQA Level 4 relevant qualification.
• Understanding of food preparation to perfection and presented in an appealing way.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of culinary trends and kitchen operations.
