Chef de Partie - Fantail & Turtle

We're looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our award winning venue.
We're big, busy, fun, family owned & fiercely independent, all day bar and eatery at Smales Farm, Takapuna. Just 10 minutes from the city, loads of parking, and a bus station on site - so transport is SUPER easy.
Our experienced team deliver a modern sharing menu with an emphasis on sustainable pacific produce, local suppliers, and zero waste, inspired by our uniquely kiwi food culture.
We know that good hospitality starts with looking after our people, so we place a high value on our team culture and we're guided by our core values of manaakitanga and kaitiakitanga.
Remuneration & hours are open to negotiation, but we're looking for a full time commitment, with an expectation of an average of 40 hours per week throughout the year being our preference - knowing requirements may vary seasonally.
Formal qualifications not required, but we're looking for candidates with minimum of 2 years experience in high volume kitchens.
Key responsibilities:- Contribute to seasonal menus in alignment with our established format, championing sustainable, pacific produce.
- Contribute to complete kitchen operations, food service, ordering & prep systems, equipment maintenance, functions & catering operations, & general hospitality duties.
- Actively collaborate with both senior & junior staff, to grow & develop your skills.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and host responsibility policies.
- Attend training and staff meetings as required.
