We're looking for a practical, mechanically-savvy Service Technician to join our Auckland team based in East Tamaki.
You'll be working with a wide range of machinery. From lathes and mills to fabrication and woodworking equipment - carrying out repairs, installations, servicing and more.
This will include:- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Install, test, and calibrate machinery for optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of workshop equipment
- Assist customers with machine setups and technical enquiries
- Maintain service records and job documentation
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and to Machineryhouse standards
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
This is the perfect opportunity for:- Maintenance Fitters or Plant Mechanics
- People with hands-on experience using or operating workshop machinery
- Practical-minded individuals who enjoy working with their hands daily
- 1-3 years of experience in machinery repair, maintenance, or fitting
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Good hands-on skills using standard tools and testing equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Full NZ driver's licence
- Trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent written and spoken English is essential
