Accounts / Admin Assistant
We’re a small, friendly Chartered Accounting practice with a family-oriented culture, and we’re looking for a motivated Accounts / Admin Assistant to join our team.
About the Role:
This is a varied and hands-on position supporting the day-to-day operations of our practice. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and sending client invoices
Managing accounts receivable and following up payments promptly
Processing client GST returns, rental accounts, and income tax returns
Completing Companies Office filings and general office administration
Filing and maintaining office documents and client records
Answering phone calls and assisting clients in a professional manner
Supporting marketing activities such as Facebook advertising (an advantage)
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
Qualified with an Accounting Diploma or Degree (required)
Experienced with Xero (an advantage)
Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with clients
