The Role

We need a reliable, hands-on Chef de Partie who’s keen to jump in for extra kitchen shifts when our core team needs a hand. You’ll help keep our high standards of food prep and plating, and pitch in on rotating specials that keep our menu fresh and fun.

• Cook & Plate: Prepare dishes to a high and consistent standard
• Support the Team: Be able to work with the team in day-to-day kitchen operations
• Keep It Tidy: Maintain a clean, organised kitchen at all times
• Stock Oversight: Help monitor inventory and flag shortages early
• Uphold Standards: Follow all food-safety and hygiene protocols

• CDP experience—or a confident Commis Chef ready to step up
• A genuine passion for cooking
• Strong communication, a positive “can-do” attitude, and ability to thrive under pressure
• A team-player spirit, yet able to work independently when needed
• Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
