Duty Manager (Pizza Hut)

We are looking for an energetic, passionate, result driven two Duty Managers for our store based in Auckland. We are exceptionally passionate about our business. We pride ourselves on outstanding quality and service.

This is a permanent position with minimum 30 hours of work per week rostered between 10am – 2am, Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster.

Pay Rate on offer: $25-$30

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist Store Manager with recruitment, training and store management.
  2. Assist and monitor new staff induction programs and help them to complete courses within the stipulated time.
  3. Control day-to-day operations by scheduling labour, ordering food and supplies and
developing team members.
  1. Assist manager to serve high quality product to customers and ensure good quality of food and 100% customer satisfaction.
  2. Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
  3. Manage Team Members.
  4. Ensure national and local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies are met.
  5. Negotiate competitive deals with customers for large orders with approval from the manager and involved in the marketing of catering for large functions.
  6. Arranging the Purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget. Learning about and providing analysis of P&L results. Learning to operate within established guidelines for expenditure and approval authority.
  7. Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs.
  8. Attend and assist in conducting regular staff meetings.
  9. Be responsible for shifts under the direct supervision and managing the functioning of the store by assisting the store manager.
Requirements:
  • 2 years in hospitality in a managerial role with at least 1 of the 2 years in the fast-food industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Great people & great customer service skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create a positive culture and working environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence team members.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
