Role Overview:
As a Duty Manager, you will be the key leader in the store when Department Managers are absent. Your mission is to ensure top-notch product quality, an exceptional shopping experience, and the smooth operation of the store. This includes overseeing security, service excellence, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and Inspire: Motivate and guide team members to achieve their best.
- Ensure Optimal Performance: Oversee all departments to ensure the store runs efficiently.
- Champion Customer Service: Maintain high standards of service and professional staff conduct.
- Foster a Safe Environment: Ensure a secure and safe workplace for all.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain Store Appearance: Regularly circulate the floor to ensure an inviting shopping experience.
- Uphold Merchandising Standards: Ensure attractive and consistent product displays.
- Liquor Manager's Certificate (current or previous)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
- Forklift license and First Aid Certificate
- 2+ years of supermarket experience as a supervisor or Duty Manager
Working Hours:
Tuesday to Saturday: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM
