As a Duty Manager at EVENT Cinemas Manukau, you'll assist in managing the day-to-day operation of our cinema to ensure we exceed our customers' expectations whilst maximising our profits.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Monitoring Spend Per Head & Admissions as well as ensuring targets are met
• Creating a working environment where our team members can reach their full potential
• Demonstrating professional behaviours & modelling our values to all team members
• Helping to lead our team, including rewarding & recognising strong performance, coaching & development as well as performance management
• Providing excellence in service to our customers
• Ensuring operations and business runs smoothly in the absence of the Cinema Manager

We want you to be the best you can be so you'll bring to this role:

• Previous experience in a leadership role ideally in the retail, food service or hospitality/leisure industry
• Ability to work on a 7 day rotating roster including late nights, weekends and public holidays
• A high level of self-motivation & the ability to get the job done
• Superior organisational and multi-tasking skills
• A real passion for our customers and employees
• At least one year’s Supervisory or Management experience
