About the role: In this role, you'll be responsible for leading projects from initiation through to delivery and close-out.

You'll balance technical expertise with commercial oversight, ensuring that every project is safe, profitable, and meets both customer and Northpower's standards.

Your scope will include managing electricity maintenance and corrective work, upgrades, and development of industrial electrical networks, while also supporting design and estimating activities as needed.
  • Leading projects end-to-end, from planning and design to commissioning and close out.
  • Managing budgets, financial performance, and reporting to ensure commercial targets are met.
  • Working closely with design, estimating, and field teams to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards.
  • Driving lessons learned and continuous improvement across projects.
About you:
We're looking for someone who can combine strong project management skills with electrical knowledge and commercial experience to deliver exceptional results.
  • 2+ years of project management experience in an electrical or utilities environment.
  • Proven experience working on projects within Transmission or Distribution Lines.
  • Strong commercial and financial skills, including budget management and cost tracking.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.
  • Class1 driver's licence.
