As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Senior Architectural Designer to join our team. About the Role
This senior-level role is ideal for an experienced Architectural Designer who is confident running projects from concept to completion, with strong knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code, local planning rules, and council processes. You’ll be working closely with the Director and clients to deliver high-quality architectural outcomes across a range of residential and rural projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead architectural projects from design to documentation
- Prepare building consent documentation and manage council submissions
- Develop detailed working drawings and construction packages
- Collaborate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and clients
- Conduct site visits and manage construction phase input
- Ensure compliance with NZ Building Code and local regulation
- 10+ years experience in architectural design, with a solid background in New Zealand residential projects
- Proficient in NZ Building Code and council consent processes
- Highly competent in producing full construction documentation
- Skilled in Archicad.
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Excellent design sensibility and attention to detail
- NZ residency or valid work visa
- Northland-based or willing to relocate to Waipu
