Factory Production Staff - Kashish Foods

MG Production Facilities is hiring Factory Production Staff for our food manufacturing unit. We produce food items such as dairy, food batters, cooking pastes etc. Based in East Tamaki and/or Mangere, Auckland.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable staff who can work in a clean, fast-paced food production environment and follow hygiene and safety procedures strictly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, mixing, filling, sealing, and packing of food products
• Work on production line for the food products
• Label products correctly (batch, date, expiry)
• Ensure correct weight/quantity in each pack

• Follow strict food safety and hygiene rules
• Wear PPE correctly: hairnet, gloves, mask, apron, safety shoes
• Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times
• Follow cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures

• Check product appearance, smell, texture (basic quality checks)
• Report any quality issues immediately to supervisor
• Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)

• Operate basic machinery (training will be provided)
• Move materials/ingredients safely
• Assist with stock handling and storage
• Follow supervisor instructions and daily production targets

Requirements

• Must have valid NZ work rights
• Able to work in cold/chiller environment (for dairy products)
• Physically fit (standing long hours, lifting 10–20kg when needed)
• Able to work fast and follow instructions
• Good attendance and punctuality

• Experience in food manufacturing / dairy production
• Experience in packing, labeling, machine operation
• Understanding of hygiene, GMP, HACCP (advantage)

• Honest, responsible, and team-focused
• Strong hygiene mindset
• Willing to learn and follow company rules
• Positive attitude and hard-working mentality

• Shift-based work (morning / afternoon / weekend depending on production needs)
• Must follow hygiene rules (no jewellery, no strong perfume, clean nails, etc.)
• Mobile phone use restricted during production work
