We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic Territory Manager to join our team and help us expand our footprint in the Waikato/BOP & a shared region of Auckland.
The Role
As a territory Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving sales growth and building relationships within the pet industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of customers, including pet stores, groomers, veterinary clinics, and other pet-related businesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met with our range of pet products and solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory, growing the customer base and increasing revenue.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Keep up to date with trends in the pet industry, including competitor activity and market developments.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns within the territory.
- Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the main point of contact for customers in your region.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Represent the company at trade shows, events, and exhibitions if required.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A proven track record in sales or territory management, ideally within the pet industry or a related sector.
- A passion for pets and a strong understanding of pet-related products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage a busy territory.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.
