The Grey Lynn Firehouse is our newest venue – a bold, beautifully renovated space set in an iconic former fire station just off Ponsonby. Opening soon, it’s a destination for locals and visitors alike.

We’re building a new kitchen team and are looking for people who enjoy the process of setting up clean systems, working with good ingredients, and being part of something from day one. The food offering will be casual but well-executed — with room to shape things as we go.

We will be creating high end English pub fare with only the freshest produce and absolute care and detail taken for every dish.

• A hard working attitude and willingness to get along with not only the kitchen but the restaurant as a whole.
• Experience in quality fast paced kitchens, cooking steaks, large joints of meat and a knowledge of basic fish and meat butchery
• To be highly clean and hygienic
• To be creative and willing to contribute to seasonal menu changes and specials
• Willing to assist in training of commis and Demi chefs
• Work a rotating roster that consists of weekends and nights
