About Us: We are an authentic Irish bar, known for our warm hospitality, traditional Irish music, and delicious food. Our menu features a mix of classic Irish comfort dishes and modern pub fare. We pride ourselves on serving hearty meals made with fresh, local ingredients.We’re looking for a passionate and creative Chef to join our team and bring a taste of Ireland to our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a range of dishes, including Irish classics such as stews, pies, and full Irish breakfasts.
Develop daily specials and seasonal menu items to keep our offerings exciting and fresh.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, ensuring the kitchen is clean and organized at all times.
Collaborate with the bar team to pair food with drinks, creating a great dining experience.
Manage stock levels, and assist with ordering and receiving supplies.
Work with the team to ensure timely and high-quality service during busy periods.
Support kitchen assistants and junior staff with training and guidance as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a pub or casual dining setting.
A passion for Irish cuisine and knowledge of traditional Irish dishes.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Relevant culinary qualifications are a plus but not essential; experience and a great attitude are key!
