We're looking for a Sales Director to lead Aspire2 Workplace Communication's (WPC) national sales team. With 5-8 Business Development Managers reporting to you, you'll take full ownership of revenue performance and sales strategy. You'll work directly with the Group Sales Director, ensuring WPC continues to deliver on its mission of empowering Kiwi workplaces through literacy, numeracy, and communication training.

What You'll Be Doing:- Lead from the front by driving sales yourself and setting the standard for success.
- Expand WPC's reach into new industries, regions, and client channels.
- Align sales strategies with client needs, funding opportunities, and training trends in collaboration with Marketing, Programme Managers, and Finance.
- Use market, client, and competitor insights to refine strategies and maximise ROI.
- Oversee revenue, forecasts, and pipeline health, ensuring compliance with funding and contractual requirements.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentoring to 5-8 BDMs, building a high-performance, results-driven culture.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of New Zealand's workplace training environment, including government funding models, compliance requirements, and client reporting processes.
- Demonstrated success securing contracts with medium to large New Zealand businesses across key industries such as manufacturing, transport, construction, and warehousing.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to generate new business while building and growing long-term client relationships.
- Well-connected with a strong network of senior decision-makers and industry contacts across New Zealand businesses.
- Strong communicator - confident engaging with clients and stakeholders both face-to-face and online.
- Self-motivated and disciplined leader with a practical, hands-on approach and a strong focus on delivering outcomes.
