We are seeking also a confident junior chef who is keen to learn and will be able to step into the sole chef role if necessary.

Waikanae Boating Club has a welcoming, congenial atmosphere. We are a private club surrounded by the beautiful Kapiti Coast. We are in the process of rebuilding our club to expand our premises and internal club areas with a new galley kitchen on the horizon.

What we need from our new chefs are:

The senior role will require a minimum of 4 years' experience as a chef.

Experience for a junior chef position will be assessed upon application.

The roles will require the ability and experience to:

Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene and compliance standards

Develop menus along with estimates for food and supplies

Procure and order food supplies

Supervise and co-ordinate kitchen staff.
