Duty Manager
Rotorua
We are looking to hire an experienced Duty Manager at our busy liquor store in Rotorua.
You must have a General Manager certificate and a LCQ Certificate. You will have the ability to manage all aspects of the business. Your responsibilities, duties and tasks will include:
- Ensuring that the business is meeting all Sale and Supply of Liquor Act requirements
- Ensuring accurate stock control and that all products are kept in stock as required
- Anticipating requirements and ordering stock including special occasion periods such as Christmas/New Year
- Arranging pricing and promotion of product (within legal limits on promotions)
- Ensuring that store operation is run in accordance with franchise requirements and develop and implement any policies which are required locally
You must be able to work late nights and weekends according to a flexible schedule to suit the company roster. Store opening hours range from 10am opening to 9pm closing, with different closing times on different days of the week.
Candidates must also have:
- minimum 2 years experience within the liquor industry, in either a franchised or standalone business
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer, POS and stock control system skills
- Be reliable, organised and efficient
- An excellent customer focus and high standards
- Ability to maintain retail premises to a high standard
All candidates must have full work rights in New Zealand.
