Crown Worldwide Group currently has an opening for an experienced Operations Manager for Palmerston North.

The Position:

An exciting Permanent, Full-time career opportunity has become available for an Operations Manager. This role is located in Palmerston North and reports to the HHG Manager – North Island. The successful appointee will take responsibility for the functional management of all aspects of Wellington operations and operational staff in Moving Services.

This role is based onsite Monday to Friday.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Being customer focused
  • Ability to demonstrate a successful track record in transport/logistics or similar services
  • Being a self-starter who sees problem solving as an enjoyable challenge
  • Possesses strong and positive people leadership skills
The person that we are looking for has:
  • Operations management experience
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a large team.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the role
  • Eagerness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
  • Passion for delighting customers and delivering high quality service
  • Strong planning and execution ability, with previous experience in dispatch preferred
  • Ability to manage time well through prioritisation
  • Experience with labour and materials cost management
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Good computer skills and accurate administrations skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Must be eligible to live and work in New Zealand. VISA Sponsorship will not be considered.
