About the RoleWaikato Hospital is one of the largest tertiary hospitals in the country, and we are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our friendly, dedicated team.We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to become a key member of our CT team.
To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience working with CT imaging and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.The radiology department has a staff of approximately 130 and provides a full range of imaging modalities including CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, vascular/interventional radiology, and conventional x-ray.This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week across a variety of shifts, on a 24-hour roster, and will involve working on call duties, including the weekends.
Key responsibilities of the role:Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a timely mannerDeliver safe, respectful, effective and efficient patient care and optimal service deliveryParticipate in a rotating shift rosterUphold and meet registration and regulatory CPD requirementsWork as an effective team player and promote a team culture that fosters collaborative working relationships The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the Medical Imaging Technologist agreement.
