This is a designated senior nurse role at Lakes. The purpose of this role is to provide nursing leadership in support of the Dermatology service to facilitate safe quality patient care throughEffective referral management and triaging.Source of advice for health care professionalsPatient educationCase ManagementProvision of nurse lead biopsy and suturingCryotherapy.Intradermal steroidal injections.Provision of Patch testing Services.Internal and Outreach support to the Dermatologist.Nurse led clinics weekly for follow up and first specialist appointments.Wide range of knowledge of all medical Dermatology conditions and medical management of these.Management of Registers of Immunosuppressed patients on systemic and biologic treatment.Implementation of policies and educational resources for the Dermatology service.About the Team/Service/LocationHealth New Zealand |Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
