We are seeking a NZ Registered MIT to join our supportive, enthusiastic, and professional Radiology team at Rotorua Hospital, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand on a casual basis.

About the Role

The position would suit experienced MITs, or final year students about to graduate. If you are a dynamic, critical thinking MIT, come and try Rotorua Radiology Department for size. Our staff are the core of everything we do, so if youre looking for a career and not just a job in a friendly and supportive department, then you are looking in the right place.

You will be employed on a casual/as and when basis to help cover the General Xray shift and on call 24/7 system .

About the Team/Service/ Location

Rotorua Radiology boasts a modern department with 4 DR rooms, two DR mobiles and two Flat Panel C-arms, Digital fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound services. We are a friendly and social team with a great working environment. The successful candidate will be working across the General X-ray Department and taking part in the shift and on call roster on a casual basis.

About you
  • You must hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate, or have applied for registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiations Technologists Board
  • Be a good team player, friendly and approachable, flexible, able to work under pressure and communicate well with others.
  • Able to work autonomously and independently and demonstrate critical thinking.
  • Engagement in continued professional development and have a passion for the role
