Relationship/Account Manager
Our tower portfolio of 2,400 covers Cape Reigna to Bluff and is the largest in New Zealand.
As a Relationship/Account Manager at Connexa you will be accountable for delivering relationship and commercial outcomes for your nominated accounts, developing a deep understanding of our customers’ business drivers and success criteria and, along with the rest the Customer team, co-designing and executing against sales/business development strategies.
The role will suit a seasoned sales professional who is now looking to supercharge their career in a dynamic and growing company. Ideally you will have a passion for teleco, but you will most certainly pride yourself on your ability to build and nurture long term sustainable customer relationships.
As Connexa is still a relatively new company in growth-mode everyone is asked to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and co-design our ways of working. We have a unique opportunity to do things faster and smarter than ever before – and you will play a key part in all of this.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being the voice of Connexa within the customer and the voice of the customer within Connexa
- Creating relevant solutions to strengthen relationships and drive revenue growth
- Managing commercial governance, including pricing, site order confirmations, contract negotiations and operational escalations
- Tracking and monitoring operational and performance metrics
- Contributing to the development of sales and product strategies – finding alignment and win:win outcomes for Connexa and our customers – and executing against agreed strategies
- Identifying customer and market trends, opportunities and threats
- Helping identify new revenue streams, business innovation and marketing opportunities
Requirements
To be successful you will have:
- Prior experience in a senior sales/account/relationship management role
- A customer-first attitude, excellent at building and maintaining enduring relationships
- Demonstrable success of delivering to sales targets and identifying new revenue opportunities
- Strong network within, and understanding of, the NZ teleco market/industry
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic and evolving/growing work environment
- Fantastic communication skills in all formats
- A creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- A recognition and embrace of differences and diversity in the workplace
- A growth mindset and desire for continuous improvement
