Pastry Chef
We're looking for a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team at one of Auckland's newest artisan bakeries, located in Epsom. This is a rare opportunity to bring your creativity and skills to a bakery that's all about quality, craftmanship and care.
About the role:You'll be responsible for creating a range of pastries and viennoiserie - from laminated classics to seasonal tarts, cakes and specials. You will have the opportunity to help shape the pastry offering, working closely with the team to make products that reflect the best of artisan baking.
What we're looking for:- At least 2 years' experience working as a pastry chef in a high-quality bakery, patisserie or something similar
- Strong skills in lamination, dough work, fillings, creams, glazes and finishing
- A genuine passion for pastry and baking - you care deeply about the craft
- Good time management and the ability to work efficiently in a small, focused team
- Creative flair and the desire to put your stamp on the pastry menu
- A positive attitude, reliability and the ability to work early mornings and weekends.
