Senior Caregiver - Full time
About the Role**
Ryman Healthcare is seeking multiple Senior Caregivers to join our friendly team at?Jane Mander Retirement Village in?Whangarei, Auckland.
You must have a level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate (or equivalent) and minimum 2 years relevant experience.
Naturally, you will have empathy for the elderly and be dedicated to making our village a wonderful place to live and work.
You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week and the wage will be $31.16 per hour.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing care and personal needs assistance as detailed in the care plan and under the direction of a Registered Nurse
- Observing and reporting immediately to the Registered Nurse or senior any change in a resident's status or behaviour
- Ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of residents at all times
- Demonstrating care for others by understanding their needs and providing help and support
- Documenting care provided to residents objectively and in a timely manner
- We provide a full orientation with ongoing training and support towards professional development and aged care qualifications.
