3x Senior Contract Manager

ConsultANZis seeking3x Senior Contract Managersfor major civil infrastructure projects in Auckland, Wellington, and Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.
These $25M–$50M+ per year projects focus on road maintenance, pavement upgrades, highway surfacing, and urban infrastructure improvements. We’re looking for experienced leaders who can manage complex contracts, work closely with clients, and oversee large teams.
Main Duties:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of large-scale road and urban infrastructure projects
- Act as the primary point of contact with the client
- Manage project budgets, performance, and risk
- Provide strategic advice to improve project outcomes
- Guide and support engineering, construction, and project teams
- Prepare reports and attend senior-level meetings
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in major civil projects
- Strong knowledge of various contract types, including maintenance contracts, is a must.
- Experience in road construction, road maintenance, highways, pavement works, resurfacing, spray sealing, and asphalting is required.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects valued at $25M–$50M+
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
