Monica's is a busy day time cafe that enjoys a sunny architecturally designed space along with a creative menu supporting local growers and small businesses alike.
About the role:
We're on the lookout for a full-time team member or two part-timers to ensure our guests are satisfied and their expectations are exceeded in their dining experience. A duty manager with current license is sought, or candidates with a willingness to obtain and perform at this level is preferred.

A day in the life:
- Be familiar with all products and services that are on offer and make recommendations
- Follow cash handling and banking procedures
- Adhere to liquor license requirements
- Work alongside your team to ensure sections are running smoothly and efficiently
- Communicate with management about queries, concerns or ideas
- Learn new ways of achieving great outcomes for the business and ourselves!
The ideal person will have:
- A cheerful and positive attitude, coupled with a readiness to exceed expectations!
- Some experience in the industry (preferred), as well as a willingness to learn and implement our way of doing things
- If you're a trained barista, that's a brilliant bonus
- Flexibility in roster requirements
- The ability to work well as part of a team, and be efficient while working individually
- Genuine passion for the hospitality industry
