About the roleAs Checkout Supervisor, you'll play a key role in keeping our checkout area running smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:* Overseeing checkout operations and supporting the team during busy periods- Resolving customer queries quickly and professionally
- Assisting the Checkout Manager with operational tasks when required
- Facilitating the sale of restricted items
- Leading by example and helping create a positive team environment
- Availability to work Saturday evenings is essential
- Rostered shifts across the week
- Is self-motivated and takes initiative
- Has strong leadership and communication skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Brings a positive, customer-focused attitude to every shift
Previous retail or supermarket experience is an advantage, but not essential. We're more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude.
Requirements* Current Duty Manager's Certificate or willingness to obtain one- Applicants must be at least 20 years old
- No criminal record
- Ability to complete the Liquor Controllers Qualification
