Sous Chef Opportunity - Alexandra
We are looking for a chef to join our team for the summer with the potential for it to become long term.
The Role:Any level of experience will be considered as the main ingredients we are looking for are passion and a positive attitude!
Main responsibilities include:- Ensure quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Ensure that recipes and proportions are adhered to, to ensure consistency, quality and cost control
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
- Adhering to the food control plan and cleaning standards and processes within the kitchen
- Ensure all food is prepped and portion controlled prior to service to ensure no food prep is required to be completed during service
- Ensuring clear communication between the kitchen, front of house and management team
