Would you like to work with a world class wine brand?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate sous chef / chef de partie who can bring their flair for high quality food to create engaging food experiences for our guests this summer season in our restaurant at The Shed for approx. 7 months.

The Shed is open 5 days per week, Wednesday to Sunday, and offers a modern, sharing style menu and utilizing local seasonal produce.

Develop your skills matching dishes to wines and continue our journey elevating the experience for our guests.

Requirements

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
  • Working closely with the team on all levels
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Maintaining food hygiene practices
  • Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
  • Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
  • Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
  • Supporting the ongoing kitchen responsibilities

You will need:

  • Minimum one-year relevant experience
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques
  • To be able to work autonomously and deliver quality work
  • An enthusiastic and team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and discover a new gastronomic environment
  • A high standard of personal presentation with a friendly and genuine attitude
  • High energy and a positive, pro-active approach with attention to detail
  • To be adaptable and flexible around the working hours when required
