Vietnamese Chef/Cook ( 2 positions)

Salary: $32-$35/ hour

We are looking for 2 experienced Vietnamese chefs/cooks to join our growing Vietnamese food business in Auckland.

Our goal is to deliver traditional and authentic Vietnamese street food, focusing on high-quality ingredients and consistent taste.

• Prepare and cook authentic Vietnamese dishes
• Bake traditional Vietnamese bánh mì baguettes
• Prepare bánh mì fillings and toppings such as grilled pork, shredded chicken, pork belly, pâté, pickled vegetables and sauces
• Cook traditional Vietnamese dishes including Ph?, Bún Bò Hu? and other noodle soups
• Prepare Vietnamese desserts
• Prepare traditional Vietnamese coffee
• Maintain food quality, hygiene and kitchen standards
• Assist with kitchen preparation and daily food production

• Experience cooking authentic Vietnamese cuisine
• Experience baking Vietnamese bánh mì bread is highly preferred
• Ability to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes such as ph?, bún bò Hu? and street food
• Knowledge of Vietnamese ingredients, spices and cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Reliable, hardworking and passionate about Vietnamese food
