Maintenance Manager - Invercargill

$135- $150k p/a depending on experience

INVERCARGILL BASED ROLE - SITE MAINTENANCE & RELIABILITY MANAGER

Platinum Recruitment are excited to be on the hunt for a strong Maintenance manager for this NZ owned & operated, manufacturing leader. The Maintenance & Reliability Manager is a critical function in this busy processing site.

THE ROLE:

As Maintenance & Reliability Manager, reporting to the Site Manager, your core functions are as follows:

Providing leadership with an existing team
Bringing proven wins in reliability & asset management
Laying ground rules for systems & processes
Minimising downtime with planning & maintenance management
Ensuring adherence to industry safety & quality standards
On-boarding new engineering talent
Driving continuous improvement within the maintenance function
Management of maintenance budgets & related asset management

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE/ BE:

Min. 6 years in manufacturing maintenance
Min. 3 years team leadership / people management experience
Mechanical / Electrical trade OR Engineering tertiary qualification
IT proficient; CMMS preventative maintenance software
Adept at implementing systems & processes
Professional communication skills up & down the chain
Sound reporting, planning, budgeting & job scheduling skills
