• $94,142 to $100,013Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleAs the Southland Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of all electrical services at Southland Hospital campus in Invercargill, but also several other clinical facilities throughout the Southland region, including Lakes Hospital, Stewart Island, dental facilities and smaller health centres.You will be supervising two Electricians, and together, you will be responsible for dealing with reactive breakdowns and Programmed Preventative Maintenance (PPM).You will:become an expert in all the electrical systems in the hospital
• from light fittings to Building Management System, from sockets to Air Handler Unitsbuild positive relationships with the clinical and support staff throughout the hospital, which will enable the electrical team to carry out essential maintenance in an active, functioning hospitalbe responsible for reviewing all electrical work requests and assigning work to your team and external contractorsprovide support to the Regional Electrical Team Leader, and the Capital Projects team in developing future projects across the Southland region.View position description.About the Team/Service/LocationYou will be joining a Facilities team made up of over 40 people encompassing electrical, mechanical and works spread over Southland, Dunedin and Queenstown.
